We are Safe Shores Monitoring Ltd.

You may have known us as Safe Shores Monitoring, trading as Communicare 247. But, as of today (17.07.17) things have changed.

Over the last 20 years, we have focused on protecting men and women throughout the UK. In that time we have introduced a variety of services from Lone Worker and Crime Prevention, to Technology Enabled Care.

As our business evolved and our services grew, we realised that offering so many services under the one name can often lead to confusion. It is for this reason that we have taken steps to simplify our service offerings and tailor them to the needs of our customers by dividing our business into two separate organisations; Safe Shores Monitoring Ltd and Communicare 247 Ltd.

Safe Shores Monitoring Ltd will focus on our Lone Worker, Crime Prevention and Monitoring services, while Communicare 247 Ltd will focus its efforts on health, and technology-enabled care.

Changing our name and dividing our services is a step we have not taken lightly. This is the first stage in our roadmap for continued development. Safe Shores Monitoring is more than just a new name. It’s a new way of doing things. A new way of delivering excellence at every stage and ensuring you, your lone workers and your business are fully protected.

Most of us who are lucky enough to work in full-time employment tend to work from the security of a desk. Surrounded by our colleagues, shielded by a roof and four walls, we often take our safety for granted. All around the world, there are workers who face a scenario so different from our own.

Whether a healthcare worker visiting the home of a sick person, an engineer visiting sites in the early hours of the morning or a driver travelling to remote locations, safety is never guaranteed. Lone Workers are the unsung heroes of many organisations throughout the UK.

Each day the number of insidious crimes committed increase. Men and women suffer in fear from silent crimes like stalking. Domestic violence and hate crimes are a daily struggle for some, while there are those who fear kidnap.

Although you may not know they exist. Although you may never see these crimes first hand, they are on going.

These people. The vulnerable, the lonely, those at risk and those who are surviving. These people are the reason we exist. We have one aim in business and that is to protect and empower these people. Our services and technologies are developed to provide them with the best possible solution to an ongoing problem.

As technology continues to grow and evolve, we have continued to innovate and develop state of the art solutions. Utilising cloud, location and mobile technology, we have equipped our Alarm Receiving Centre with the ability to make a real difference in people’s lives.

This is an exciting time for Safe Shores Monitoring and we want you all to be a part of it. If you’re an existing customer and would like further information regarding our changes and how they affect you, then feel free to contact your Customer Relationship Manager.
